"Paula inspires student-learners to acquire not only knowledge but wisdom; she inspires co-teachers to develop engaged curricula from their own passions, strengths, and training; she inspires students' families to create sustainable community that nurtures both their school and lives at home. Paula's energy and authenticity are palpable when you step foot inside Prairie Green School, which achieves intrinsically-motivated academic learning, music, and theatre--the likes of which I have witnessed in no other educational setting. We moved our daughter from a good public school because our preschool daughter's experience at PGS was not only that of top-notch education, but moved toward the excellence of maintaining learning as the beautiful gift that it is." - Jan Rippentrop
"Within 5 minutes of our first visit to prairie green school my wife and I knew this was exactly what we wanted for our two girls. I saw groups working together on different projects and older kids reading stories to some of the preschool kids. I wanted our daughters to experience the flexibility to explore their interests and to be mentored and eventually become a mentor themselves to other children in the school. What I didn't expect was the very personal connection I would feel with the school. I ended up volunteering as much time as I could and felt a deep satisfaction whenever I saw my girls enjoying whatever activity the school had going that day. My wife and I will be forever grateful to Prairie Green for showing us a different educational path for our girls and giving them the confidence and strong interpersonal skills to be successful in whatever they do." - Zeb Buckley

"Prairie Green School has been such a gift to our family. This weekend I've watched my older daughter play a song on the ukulele written by a classmate and excitedly tell me about airplanes and thrust. My younger daughter rattled off all her colors in Spanish and described the fantastic outdoor game she and her friends invented. At bedtime they were both quick to show off their yoga moves they learned at school. I don't know how to play the ukulele, would be hardpressed to define thrust, speak little Spanish and haven't done yoga in five years. This school makes my children more rounded individuals and teaches them so much more than I can at home. When my daughter started at Prairie Green she was coming off a full-time daycare experience that I thought I was happy with. I didn't really know all the things we were missing. The girls have grown so much since starting at PGS and in ways that honestly make them kinder, gentler, more creative, more adventurous little humans. I'm so proud of the girls they're becoming and attribute much of that to this amazing school they're so lucky to attend." - Laura Ebinger
